"The black belt martial arts is a hidden gem in Sugar Land - Missouri City area! This place is somewhere that my kids would find their fun as always! Every week the kids thinking of going here and always asking which day is their Karate day, and if they have a bad day at school, they recovers here. Also, Mr Reyes cares about all the kids he teaches, and he got a great rhythm on all the kids, liking gaining some skills or testing for the new belts. "We have been bringing our son to Black Belt Martial Arts for over a year, since he turned 3, and we couldn't be more pleased! As an early childhood educator, I immediately noticed that Mr. Reyes and Ms. Shyla are experts at teaching this age group. They always approach students with the right balance of patience and firmness. My son has improved significantly in his karate skills, as well as in his social skills since starting the class (paying attention, following instructions, showing respect to others). He has had challenges on the playground with bigger kids in which he has been able to put the skills he's learning into practice. I see him growing in confidence and ability, month by month.
