"HDS Ballet offers great instruction, particularly from Ms. Michelle, who stands out as a significant asset to HDS. My daughter eagerly attends her classes. Ms. Michelle proves to be an effective teacher, fostering both discipline and passion within her students. It’s worth mentioning that most of the facilities have the potential to be truly beautiful if maintained better. Regular cleaning regimen needs to be prioritized with a need for more thorough and consistent upkeep. Both the bathrooms and common areas, including couches and seating, often fall short of cleanliness standards, which can really detract from the overall experience. For those whose primary priority is the quality of ballet instruction, HDS meets expectations. Yet, to enhance the environment for students and parents alike, an investment in the maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities will be necessary."

"I’ve been learning Ballet in HDS ( Houston Chinatown location) for many years. I started at the adult beginner level and eventually improved to intermediate/ advanced and even took some point shoes classes. My dance instructors Mr Huang and Mrs Chen are knowledgeable, friendly & inspiring. They make an effort to get to know their students on a personal level and work hard to better all of them, inside and outside of dance. There are also some “guest star” professional ballet dancers to teach master classes which I have attended, They all are kind and helpful. I attended a recital and was very impressed by the performance and enthusiasm of all the students and teachers. HDS in Katy ~what an amazing studio, one of the very best in town!"

"I have been attending HDS ballet dancing for more than 7 years, from zero experience to intermediate/advanced level. Ms. Chen’s classes are super helpful for building solid ballet foundations. Mr. Huang was Houston ballet’s principal dancer and I feel lucky that he also teaches adult classes for a more advanced level. He gave me lots of advanced tips that helped me along my ballet journey and he is very interactive with students. I love his choreography the most! From time to time, they invite professional ballet dancers for master classes, even for adults! They also include adult students performing on professional stages during recitals, which is a great opportunity to experience a dancer’s life and show our skills and artistry on the stage! And last but not least, the classroom in Katy is spacious and bright."

"Never thought I’d be a ballerina one day. I started the adult class a year ago because i wanted try something new and it was a blast. What a pity it’s only once a week. I enjoyed the elegant dance as well as the class atmosphere. With everyone dancing and laughing together, It’s quite rewarding and relaxing for me.
