"My daughter has been at Ballet Arts since the age of 4. It is school of classical ballet instruction for students of all levels, abilities, and interests. My daughter is now 13 and is now at the pre-professional level. The environment is nurturing, but also grounded in the discipline of classical French ballet. Ms.Judith always gives students the history of the steps, dance, music, and of course, the story behind each tragic or triumphant tale. Ms. Judith is a wonderful and talented teacher and dancer. "If you're thinking about starting adult ballet--DO IT! It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. 5 years ago, I took a risk and showed up to the adult ballet beginner class and I was immediately hooked. I thought I might get some exercise but ended up with a new passion and a wonderful group of friends. The adult students are very welcoming and always supportive. Unlike the gym, everyone enjoys seeing each other progress and there isn't any competition or judgement. Ms. Judith tailors the adult classes to the needs of adult dancers. She adds a therapeutic warm-up that ensures that our bodies are ready to practice ballet and you get a complete ballet class including barre, center work, leaps and turns. I've never done anything where I see and feel such fast progression. You may wobble balancing on your toes and before you know it, you can balance on one foot and even turn on that one foot. Just when you start to get comfortable, Judith cranks it up a notch and teaches you more difficult steps, adds speed or complexity. Don't worry if you have injuries or ailments as we all do. I sometimes have to skip the leaps due to foot injuries. Come in leggings and a baggy t-shirt or don a leotard, skirt and leg warmers. Either way, you will walk out of class a ballerina."

"I enjoy taking the adult beginner ballet class with Ms. Judith. The stretching and core exercises make such a difference in how I feel physically and mentally. Each class, she builds upon basic skills and we're constantly learning new ballet moves. My twin three year old's are in the Saturday morning class. Ms. Judith is so patient and very experienced in working with children. They look forward to ballet class every Saturday. I highly recommend Ballet Arts School."
