"8 more months and I'm out. Never again"
"The apartment I lived in was old but that wasn't the big deal. I paid for what it's worth. The staff managers are always nice to me. I've lived all over the country and the interacted with different apartment complex managers. The ones at Williamsburg are better than other places in my experience. I didn't smoke or damage the apartment so they only charged me a small portion of my deposit for carpet cleaning."
"Manager refuses to get air conditioning working when it is 75 degrees outside and over 80 inside the apts."
"Would give it a 5 out of 5 but the manager/landlord that is in the office is horrible. She will come into apts without telling people, she will try to get people to write checks for her instead of the apt complex, she will cuss you out if you even try to ask a question, she constantly try to spy on you. She will rarely work or be in the office. I have complained for over a year about a leaky sink and she still hasn't done anything. The apts themselves are beautiful but she is the worst garbage I've ever met. Ive even talked to others that live here and she has done almost all of those things I listed to them as well."
"Drafty, leading to high utility bills; even with self-paid insulation. Maintenance is reasonably good, if a bit on the slow side. You can hear everything that every one of your neighbors is doing: very poor sound protection. Buildings are about 50 years old and pre-date Interstate 74; you can hear the traffic on the interstate day and night. Upon moving out, I deep-cleaned the apartment and shampooed the rugs, informing management that I did so. Three weeks later, I received a bill for $370 (minus my $300 deposit, or owing $70), for items which included: Cleaning: I cleaned it myself; it was cleaner when I left than when I arrived. Item removal: Nothing was left in the apartments. Carpet Shampooing: It was already shampooed, and they were informed of it. Painting: Nobody in the household smoked, and there were no marks on the walls. Be warned that if you sign a lease, you can forget about getting any of your deposit back. I've also read other complaints about them overcharged tenants upon moving out."
