"I came to Aperion, St Elmo after surgery and was there for close to 3 months. The staff and administration were wonderful. I had extensive PT and OT...which greatly helped with my recovery. My only complaints were in the food quality and the actual building and fixtures. The bed I had was hand cranked and very difficult for staff. The bathrooms were ucky and needed a lot of work. The activities people were wonderful and the transportation to doctor's appointments were superb. The new administrator was on the job and talking to residents every day. He seemed to be just right for the job! The CNAs we're out of this world. 2 showers a week was not enough for me. I hope to never have to go to this sort of facility ever again"
