"First and foremost Nicole did a great job helping me get in to start process to get my blood pressure under control, and the office did a great job at working with me to allow me to have refills for meds while I wait for work insurance to go into effect. They allowed me to have meds refilled while putting off my appointment for insurance to go into effect, as long as I dropped in for a bp check once in a while for monitoring (according to person I spoke with on phone). I decided to attempt to go at least once a week. This is where I have to ding them. It had been a couple weeks since I could make it in due to work overtime. I went in one week and Nicole’s nurse took my bp, and it was running a little higher, so I decided to stay on my once of week goal, especially since it was tad high. The next week I went in, as soon as the nurse opened the door to get me, she asked if I had come in last week. I informed her that I intended to consistently come in to monitor it/ give them more data to work with. She in her own words informed me that it wasn’t necessary and to next time come to my appointment with Nicole. If coming in once a week to have my bp checked is a burden to the nurse, than I’m going to consider going elsewhere. It’s far easier for her to tell me it’s not necessary to come in when it runs little high week prior when it’s not her health."
