"Experienced extended wait times and unprofessional behavior. I arrived early to fill out paperwork as requested by the receptionist. I then waited a hour to see the doctor which lead me to inquire about the status of the doctor with the nurse, LVN. Once she was outside my room the LVN could be heard informing the doctor that I was in a hurry, ect. Which because of the patient exam room being poorly configured regarding sound, the LVNs condescending tone and entire conversations with the doctor was heard by myself. I then heard the doctor tell the staff that I could just reschedule if I was in a hurry and shortly after he walked into my room. After the shock to hear such sarcasm outside my room, I gathered my purse and informed the doctor on his entry that I'd already heard their conversation, and would not be staying for his quite tardy services, nor rescheduling with his practice, and requested a refund of the $110 I had paid to simply sit in his office for an hour to wait and be chastised when inquiring about the late status of the provider. How quickly some forget who they work for, and that without those paying customers they would not have a job or practice. Still pending a refund for services not provided."
"Receptionist is Rude and not helpful nor welcoming. Put me on hold for over 5 minutes before I hung up. Called back 20 minutes later thinking she had adequate time to search for lab order assistance. She was clearly more concerned about her personal issues related to being busy versus addressing a patient’s concern. This is unfortunate for the practice and patients."
"So here's the deal, I'd never thought I would be leaving a review on a doctor that I've been with for over 7 years, but here it is. I can honestly say I've never had a "bad experience" at this doctor's office, expect twice. The thing is, itwasn't with the nurse practitioners or Dr. Currier. It was Lori at the front desk, she kept telling me my insurance wasn't valid, even though I had called them several times and they told me that it was, they even asked if she wanted to speak to them and she kept refusing. I get it, I could have called anyone. But, her attitude was the worse part. She was acting so unprofessional. Might I add, my son was sitting in their waiting room with me, with 103 fever. All the while she is telling me I have to pay the appointment in call cash before I get seen? Well, that was years ago and we've moved passed it, and she's been nothing but amazing since then. Fast forward to today. My 1year old daughter has been running fever for over 4 days now, she was just seen at the office by Ann who said it was allergies and prescribed Zyrtec. She told me that if she gets worse bring her back Friday. So I try and make an appointment this morning, I called at 10:30am and she asked if 11 works? I inform her that there's no way I could make it in time because of how far I live and the fact that my daughter just woke up. Meaning 30 minutes wasn't going to be enough time to get my child and myself ready, and drive 20 minutes and still make it on time. She then tells me "well, let me see what la Vernia has open..." I told her no, I wasn't going to la Vernia, and asked if they had any later appointments. She told me no, that they had doubled booked themselves. Like I tried explaining to her, Ann told me to come back, my daughter IS SICK and needs to be seen. Her response to me was "first of all!! I dont know where you live, so I don't know long it would take you to get here, WHAT TIME DO YOU WANT TO COME IN? I told her around 1 and she snaps back with "no, you can come in at 1:45 and sit and wait in the waiting room, and just be a walk in". Let's just say the rest of the conversation got way out of control. They could definitely work on their bed side manner. She had an attitude as soon as she answered the phone, and there was going to be no winning with her. Needless to say, my entire family of 5 will be finding a new doctor. The wait times have gotten out of hand, and all the prescribe is allergy meds. Anything else, you gotta get over the counter. Save your time. Find somewhere else to go."
"I have been bringing my kids here for around 9 years. The nurses and practitioners are great. In those 9 years we have only seen Dr. Currier himself 3 times. The first 2 times I did not get a very good impression of him. I felt he was somewhat belittling and condescending. However, the last time I saw him he was friendly. In all 3 cases he was great with my kids."
