Dr. Emad Lawendy

"Dr Lawendy was rude, and dismissive towards my wife for being worried about our daughter’s health. Our daughter has had weird stomach and respiratory symptoms for a few weeks now so we made an appointment with Dr Lawendy, he proceeded to tell my wife to stop exaggerating, to calm down and acted dismissive AND disrespectful towards my wife. He told her “I am more worried about you (my wife for expressing her concerns) than her(my daughter).” My wife, who is pregnant, came out crying from the appointment, and to make matters worse he laughed at her face and mocked her for being preoccupied. It’s very disappointing to receive this treatment from someone who is supposed to take care of our daughter’s health. We will not be coming back and are looking to file a complaint for unprofessionalism. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN WITHDR EMAD LAWENDY"

"Worst experience EVER! My sons doctor was not available so they set me up with an appointment with Lawendy. I went in with my son whose tonsils were extremely swollen and he had a cough. The Doctor walked in checked his ears and looked in his throat and said oh he is fine I will give you a referral to a specialist who can see why he’s a mouth breather. I’m like ok? So? No testing no meds I’m sure he needs some antibiotics and he very rudely begins to try and explain that he is the doctor and he has been doing this for over 40 years he is the professional here basically telling me I don’t know what I’m talking about and he does… I did not want to argue I just asked again are you sure no strep test needed no antibiotics he again very rudely started saying he is 100% sure just by “looking” at my son that he was fine. I ended my visit and took my son to an urgent care. He was tested for strep and came back positive and antibiotics were given. Like I first stated at this doctors office. Never again will I see this Doctor or recommend him to anyone. Disgusted with how he treated me and spoke to me as if I was stupid the entire visit when I voiced my concern. I would give 0 stars if I could!"
