"My primary care provider stayed on me about my weight but offered me no support or advice for my weight loss. I’m about 218 pounds. I feel overweight enough without feeling criticized about it. After his office closed and moved, I scheduled another appointment with a new NP. I get to the office and see my old primary on the glass along with my new primary. While I was already a little disappointed that I forgot my insurance card, I was even more annoyed that they stated they couldn’t change my primary without getting approval from my old doc here at the location. I wanted to switch doctors but didn’t want to be confronted with the awkward situation. It just turned into an uncomfortable situation and I canceled my appointment on the spot, walked out.l, sat in my car and cried. I’ve been trying really hard to get in and see a doctor (trying for years to get in). Between my busy work schedule, my kid, and the doctors office available scheduling, it’s really hard to cancel work to come in only to not be seen at all. Being that they won’t allow me to switch primary docs, I’m feeling like it’s finally time to leave the mercy network for good. They have no representation of African-American doctors available anyways. I searched for a new primary within 50 miles, hundreds came up, with no doctor of color."

"I recently scheduled an appointment to be seen by Dr Mark Faron to get established as it had been several years since I have seen a primary care physician. I have several other doctors within the Mercy system and after reading reviews I decided to schedule with Doctor Faron based on the location and positive reviews. I arrived 20 mins prior to my scheduled appointment in order to complete the new patient paper work. I was the called back by the medical assistant right at the time of my appointment. She completed her assessment and questions within 10 mins and I was told the Dr would be in shortly and there was currently one patient ahead of me he still needed to see. I sat in the exam for over 40 minutes and no one ever came in to provide and update or reason for the delay. I finally stepped outside the room and tracked down a medical assistant asking what was causing such a delay. I was told he was running behind and it would only be a couple more minutes. I sat there for another 15 minutes before I walked out and informed the receptionist I somewhere to be and could no longer wait, after I had been waiting over an hour and was never seen. One would think the practice would reach out, apologize and attempt to reschedule, but I never heard a word. While I understand appointments can run behind and there is potential to wait, I am extremely disappointed in the professional of the staff for not even acknowledging I had been waiting that long or trying to make things right. Needless to say I will looking elsewhere for a provider."
"My one and only visit with Dr. Treisman was 12/2019. He was affable, friendly, and professional. When a test result indicated I should be seen by him, before the next scheduled appointment, the appointment was scheduled. Instead of seeing the doctor, I was seen by a nurse. I have NOTHING against nurses, but when I have an appointment to see a doctor, I should see the doctor and not someone with a lot less training and/or experience. The next two scheduled appointments were canceled without notification or opportunity to reset. They claim they called, but I have downloaded my phone carrier's logs for those time frames and they show no calls from this or any other medical practice. None! And there was no email messages or messages in the MYChart website. None. In May, 2020 they started sending me a bill for a copayment that was made before service was rendered. I have responded repeatedly, even sending a copy of the receipt they gave me for the copayment. The office staff treat these issues as though they are some sort of joke. I don't know if it's because of my age, skin color, or gender, or they are just on some sort of power trip, but I decided I'd never go back there and leave it at that. Today I received a call, not from their phone number, demanding I call their office. No explanation, just an irate voice making the demand. And, yes, it was recorded. Considering previous treatment and, now this call I feel I have no option but to review the practice. All claims in this review are supported and documented."
"I see Dr Gayla Jackson at this clinic. I found her staff to be friendly with a very short wait time. Dr. Jackson always responds to my questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend her."
