"I am very dissatisfied with this office. I had a 10 am appt. I was caught in traffic and called them at 9:57 to tell them I was a few minutes away. I arrived at 10:10 am to be told they would not see me today. “Doctor booked up all day, come back Friday”. Today is my day off, I cannot come Friday, and I busted my morning trying to get here. 10 minutes late, with a pre-phone call notice to them. Really? I am a full time working single mom, who runs a professional office, who runs by appointments all day long. It happens to everyone at one time or another to be a little late due to traffic. I would have no one to treat all day if I turned away every person who was a little late. I said they would have seated me in a treatment room for 30 minutes anyway waiting for the doctor to arrive in my room, so they should seat me back there and pretend I had sat there for 10 minutes instead of being late. No one wanted to go for that. The reception nurse turned into a power struggle, she was going to win this one. No, they would not see me. It’s a good thing my appointment was only for a med check, and I am not really sick. Too bad, I guess, if I was. Very UNHAPPY for the lack of flexibility and understanding from the person behind the window representing such an unforgiving attitude. I will be finding a different clinic. And telling anyone who cares to listen about my bad experience at this Mercy clinic at Olive and Mason. Don’t schedule there."
