"The bulgogi fries were amazing! The chicken tenders were good, very spicy though. I wish there was some sort of sauce for the chicken. Did I mention it was halal! Everything on the menu except the boneless wings are halal. The service was very friendly and helpful. There is a small eat in space, this seems like more of a takeout restaurant. I will order takeout next time and am looking forward to trying more."
"I used to frequent the Bonchon in Chinatown when I worked there and it was amazing. This place though…I know what bonchon should taste like and this was not it. The sauce was on point but there was hardly any meat in the boneless wings-they were so tiny it was 90% breading. I paid over $9 for a few bites of food. I also waited over 40 minutes for it on an online order. 40 minutes to get this sad amount of food in a giant box and bag that felt like they just held air because they basically did? What a bummer."
"It is somewhat humorous that a place called bonchon, Korean word for side dishes, really didn’t have much side dishes to offer. In fact, the menu isn’t exactly Korean so much as Korean-inspired. Anyone looking for more authentic Korean food is less than 10 minutes away from H Mart and its food court. Otherwise, this is place is a fast food joint and the food and its staff reflect that identity. A young cashier during my visit couldn’t stop flirting with another customer even when my food was ready. After waiting another 2 minutes, he was nice enough to take a break from his attempt to impress a lady and handed me the food. Just another Asian food version of McDonald’s."
"This was my first time coming to Bonchon in general. The service was excellent.....and I've never tried Korean chicken....so I'm not really sure if it should have been that crispy or not."
