"We are new to Decatur and I needed a new pedatrician for my daughter who needed to be updated on her vaccines. She is petrified of needles to say the very least. I thought for sure at some point during this deafening visit either the nurses or doc would loose their cool with her. It NEVER happened. I was so beyond impressed with this office! The nurses were calm, kind and so very gentle. Dr. August was amazing. She spoke to her with kindness and understanding. Eventually she calmed down. Honestly I do not think she knew what was going on. Our previous doc/staff had lost their cool a few times in the past and was very matter-of-fact with her. This office is awesome! Put it this way, even if I moved 2hrs away I would make the trip for this office. Top notch staff and doctors. I feel comfortable with their knowledge and they explain it to me so that I can understand without feeling like a moron. They also take the time to explain it to my daughter so she can understand. If you're on the hunt for a new doc for any reason, please at least talk to this office first. I can garuantee you will end up making an appointment."
