"I saw Kate Jaegle at the OSF Orthopedic Group and would not recommend her to anyone. I was in extreme pain and in need of a hip replacement. She was condescending and disrespectful during my visit. I was visibly upset from pain and frustrated at her lack of concern. She told me that she could not help me and I should talk to a therapist. I ended up getting a referral from my regular doctor, to a clinic in Bloomington, after researching on my own. I now have a care plan and an incredible doctor, who listened, didn't judge and showed me respect."

"My fiancé went to his appointment yesterday with so much hope. He has been in excruciating pain for months, but had to wait because of St. Margaret’s closure. He was excited to meet with a doctor and finally have a professional plan (from the doctor) in place to address his pain. The “doctor” told him that he is too old for surgery, (he’s 52) and that he is a “medical wreck.” In addition, he said he could not help him in any way. My fiancé left completely hopeless, crushed, embarrassed, and deflated. This is a man who relies on hope, trusts medical professionals, and has had two back to back horrific experiences with two different OSF doctors. Dr. Berkson is his name, and in my opinion, he went against his Hippocratic Oath, and has endangered the mental and physical health of a patient who desperately sought his help."

"Went in for X-ray of broken collar bone and walk out with$3000 bill. They value there opinion at around $1500 per hr for little to no advice on how to best handle my situation. Not impressed."
