"I called to find out if I could make an appointment with Barb, and she was very abrupt and almost rude in telling me that she had a waiting list and was unable to help me. I hope she is more caring to her patients than she was to me on the phone! Wow!"
"Barb did great work after my knee replacement"
"My husband has unfortunately been dealing with a work related back injury for 3 almost 4 years. At the beginning of his treatment, he was ordered to do physical therapy which was unfortunately a misdiagnosis as he ended up actually having to have surgery and the physical therapy before hand was causing him great pain. However, he actually liked the office and Barb, I believe her name is, the lady running it. Now 3 years later he's had the surgery and now legitimately needs physical therapy for recovery. He called over a week ago and left a voicemail with no response. I called myself today and was rudely told he needs to go elsewhere as she said he was "non-compliant" and apparently the previous bill was never settled by workman's compensation. She had our phone number, our lawyer's phone number, AND the workman's compensation contact information. We were not informed it had never been resolved and now have been waiting over a week for a call back that was never coming because she decided to act unprofessionally and ignore my husband's call and tell us "he needs to go elsewhere". So a man who's been severely injured, who physically could not complete the therapy first given him because it was MEDICALLY the wrong treatment at the time is being labeled as "non-compliant" and refused care in his own home town because communication could not be kept up on the part of this office when she was specifically told this was a pending workman's compensation claim. She could have called us daily if necessary and we would have called the lawyer to contact the workman's compensation group, which we did when she first mentioned a problem with payment. Then we never heard anything only to, years later, find out instead she decided to ignore and refuse a client in need. Absolutely disappointing in profession solely created to help people, but apparently only if workman's compensation and insurance companies aren't difficult to work with. While we do apologise, it is completely beyond our control and my husband is the one suffering for it."
