She acted as if I was an inconvenience to her, so I went elsewhere and immediately had friendlier help. I get that nobody wants to be working during a holiday week, but no patient wants to be there either."

"I am a local resident of the Eldridge area and I found one of the doctor profiles online. The profile stated that the provider was accepting new patients, so I called their office to schedule an appointment. I was extremely disappointed and stunned to be "greeted" by their receptionist (M-B) by her gruffly stating only her name instead of a professional greeting which I would expect from a professional office. After awkward silence for a couple seconds while I processed what had just happened, I stated my name and asked to schedule an appointment as a new patient. The annoyed response I received was, "Who referred you!? We aren't accepting new patients." I responded that the online profile said specifically that the provider was accepting new patients. The receptionist responded with, "They keep doing that, I don't know why. The doctor is out until next week, but I guess we can start paperwork if you want?" I paused for a second and then declined, thanked her for her time and hung up. I must say that this was the most unprofessional experience I have had in a long time. In the future, I hope this receptionist will reflect on this interaction and improve her social skills. Perhaps the medical providers are quality, however I refuse to patronize a business where the public face of the business cannot even muster the effort to be professional and courteous to customers, let alone new customers."

"The nurses are phenomenal.. the ladies at the front desk have been nothing short of amazing. They are always so quick getting messages to the nurse that I need. I've never waited more than 10 minutes... usually it's like 2 minutes. I love them and think they are all kind and understanding. They have been very good to me and are so kind and patient with me as I have a chronic illness and call frequently. My illness is rare and Dr. Neil always goes out his way... on his own time....to make a point of researching for information so he can just to help me. He will refer me to a specialist when needed. He listens so well without judgment. He goes out of his way to give the best care. He's the best doctor I've ever had!"
