"It’s sad to write this but if I can warn other parents: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. The front clerk Christie is very rude and hung up on me 5 times in a row because I was concerned about my kids. My children have just been prescribed antibiotics continuously for months instead of actually checking them and we are treated terribly. It wasn’t always bad and I would even recommend this doctor but for some reason they changed."

"if i could give no stars, i would. i was referred to Dr. Johnson through MindWorks Therapy in Mcallen; they told me he would be able to help me as we have been struggling to find help for my son who is 5 years old and has not been able to obtain a referral to start ABA therapy or speech. The front desk answered and besides not even identifying herself, interrupted me as soon as i started explaining our situation with "so you arent already patients here?" and then followed with "yeah we arent taking any new patients". This was followed by a moment of silence, as I was waiting for some semblance of customer service to come through, such as an apology or even a recommendation for another pedi in the area like most offices have done (which is another reason I ended up calling this office), and then the sound of her hanging up. All things considered, I am glad these doors were shut, I highly recommend that if you are searching for a good pediatrician, please reconsider coming here. No parent deserves to feel like a burden or just another number when all we are trying to do is find care for our children."

"Great doctor! Very knowledgeable! Amazing dr for special needs child. When i had my 1st born i didn’t know which pediatrician to choose. Specialists from Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi recommended him to me. They told me he takes the time to hear every concern and addresses it to the best of his knowledge. He recommends the best. Best decision i made. He now is the pediatrician of my two children."
