"I adore the staff and Drs. at the Preston office unfortunately all the work for files and dealing with insurance is through here and I hate them. They are so rude, do not like to do their jobs, hang up mid sentence when you are trying to do the smallest thing like say “thank you” every thing just seems to be a bother to them and also they loathe doing a PA and will interject their opinions about you getting it or straight up just throw them away because the name came over with two last names, not correct it, not let you the patient know not anything. You just have to start calling everyone to be told that. I don’t even have to travel that far for a dr office my town has plenty but when you like your Dr, this is the consequence you get. Try better folks learn something from the Preston office on how to be professional and treat people better especially if it’s your job to talk to patients and be helpful!"

"Staff is rude and uninformed about health insurance. It’s been this way for years. Someone over the phone actually told my mother her health insurance was made up. No honey it’s not. The stupidity is shocking."

"Can't still yet be seen until I have my past medical records?!! I've never had to with any other medical care professional. Essentially, I was asked what I needed done. I responded with I need to set up a primary. The lady essentially told me until I have my medical records PRINTED mind-you that I wouldn't be able to be seen. I've given them what my previous doctor sent me... still not good enough or recent enough I guess?? Because they're from 2019?!! I've never had to ligit give any past medical records to any other physician I've been in contact with... wtaf*_*"

"Being rude and unprofessional to current patients or past patients is never becoming of any professional business establishment. There are good doctors there, but the staff and management are rude, and unprofessional and their version of record keeping lacks accuracy, honesty and are just short of falsifying information. Canceling long term patients and their records is not endearing either. They do discriminate and cherry pick who to be decent with or nice to before ever letting doctors see them. If only the doctors of this establishment knew how, they, (the front staff), treated their patients and people that call in, in Hope's of making an appt., only to be turned away,. Or cancelled without a true valid reason, or a falsified reason. This is no longer the ,Walk In," Medical Associates from yesterday, nor does it exude the friendly staff that used to be there. I have to add, this is only the Maquoketa Med. Associates I have had the experiences I have had. Staffing in Dubuque, Iowa City and other medical offices have been absolutely wonderful. The staffing in Dubuque and Iowa City, were kind, considerate, helpful and understanding."
