"They denied care for me STRICTLY due to a high BMI. They literally have a cut off, and if you’re over that cut off, they will not see you - regardless of anything else. I’m am otherwise healthy, have a clear medical history, and had zero complications with my first pregnancy and daughter’s birth last year. I was still obese during that pregnancy, yet did not have gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, early term labor, etc. This office called and canceled my appt just 4 days away because they reviewed my info and my BMI is above their limit. They have never seen me in person. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists deems this type of discrimination as “unethical” and I couldn’t agree more. I’m humiliated."
