Grand River Medical Group: Multi-Specialty Clinic

"Been here for 2 hours, waiting for a colonoscopy. Is our time not valuable? Why have people come in so early to wait for hours? Literal hours."

"I called to make an appointment and the receptionist created a very stressful and frustrating situation. She very inappropriately demanded to know the condition for which I was seeing my doctor, did not respect my wishes to keep my condition private with the doctor, and only after a lengthy process of drawing it from me did she tell me that my doctor is booked solid with appointments so far into the future that he can't be seen. Then she told me she would give my phone number to a triage nurse to talk with me for some reason, informed me to stand by for a call. I didn't receive a call back for several hours. With The Weeknd nearing and no call back, I called the office toward the end of the day and explained a triage nurse was suppose to call. A somewhat annoyed nurse came onto the phone and argued that they did call dispite not being called... and then told me to go to urgent care. They violated my privacy and wasted my entire day. Every time I've called to make an appointment for the last many years, I've had almost the same experience as earlier this week. Then after all this, I was informed that my primary care doctor is discharging/terminated me as a patient. Man what the hell is going on?"

"I was taken back to the exam room pretty promptly. However, once there I waited 45 minutes in a tiny room for the provider to see me. They weren't busy. There weren't any people in the waiting area. I feel like they didn't care how long you were waiting. If I didn't absolutely need an antibiotic I would have just left."

"When receiving care at the clinic, the service is great; however, I have yet to have a good experience while over the phone with this clinic. At one point, I was without a medication that my life was dependent on and called multiple time for 4 days before filling it through a different clinic. Today, I received a call while I was in a class and was told to call back asap so I called back within 10 minutes after my class was finished. The lady was absolutely rude in a very condescending way and told me she couldn't help me until tomorrow although the office is open for 4 more hours. Not very impressed with the communication outside of the office."

"Being a older guy I've had many doctors in my lifetime. Dr Jill Powers is absolutely the best Dr. I've ever had and hopefully the last i ever have. She always take time to hear any questions I have. No she didn't pay me to say this!"
