Reviews of North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie
"I bet the performers are great people and that not all the staff are bad but in my experience the staff was very nosey and rude. I was picking up my sister from an event at the center and went to use the bathroom. After I used the bathroom I went to take a peak in the theatre while there were still people from the event there. When I came in a staff member a older man in his 60s with a medium sized white beard and white hair with black glasses and a little on the short side started looking up at me from the stage and started immediately speaking through his walki talki and reporting me. Which is extremely rude. He didn't even ask me anything he just immediately started recording me. Which is disgusting since we spent a lot of money for my sister to go to the performance."
"Went to see Jim Brickman and had a wonderful night. He played some new songs and a medley of all the old greats. Also featured a audience participation in the singing of "Valentine" that was recorded and uploaded onto the internet to download via a QR code."
"Went there with my wife and sister in law to see Robert Glasper the facilities was were intimate. However Mr. Glasper's performance was a total disappointment, at times he appeared to be drunk and his constant disrespect for the town of Skokie was not amusing. A lot of his fans were not happy with his lackluster performance. Mr. Glasper do better."
"Let me just say I've visited many concert venues, and comfort is my priority. This venue gets 5 stars for comfort, cleanliness, friendliness, ease of parking, and great staff. I caught the Atlanta Rhythm Section concert. Large stage, good lighting, great seating."
