"Compassionate, caring and expert care is what I received at Advocate Sherman Hospital. My surgery was a well-planned symphony by the best. Thanks for such a wonderful experience. Dr Raja Chatterjee my surgeon and Dr Muzic my anesthesiologist are the best."
"I just had a baby, premature at 33 weeks. I just wanted to thank everyone. My OB Dr. REIRMEIER, was amazing. He actually took care of us. My ex OB that was horrible works at this hospital too. I was very hesitant, but the ER department was great. I liked the hospital except that one previous experience with the other OB there. The moment I met Dr. Reirmeire and listened to what he said and saw that he listened to me too. I switched from another OB to this one. The nurses that took care of me after the emergency csection were great. I would especially like to thank Nurse PAM and PIA. They showed me so much kindness and compassion. Carrie as well, and really made me feel better. I would also like to thank my current intensive care nursery team. Everyone of you that has taken care of our baby. Who has understood our concerns and helped us so much. Thank you! Thank you everyone! Would love to deliver my next child here again. And recommend the hospital to anyone that will listen."
"I went in on Sunday night, I had the flu. There was a little wait but everyone was nice & professional. My iv was given to me by a paramedic trainee & it barely hurt. The next day I had to go back for a note for work & that wasn't hard to get."
"Front end in the ER usually has pleasant people working fast, nice, and accurate. Well not tonight. Rude, lazy, and just jerks. Even the X-ray tech wasn’t happy about the situation my husband was in and how they were being. If you don’t like your job then find another. Don’t make patients suffer, bc you don’t like your job. One lady even gave him a broke wheelchair and told my husband she knew it was broke, yet there were several by the front door- just pure laziness."
"My DRs office had me come in due to miscarriage/excessive bleeding, so a d&c surgery needed to be done (which had ahead been scheduled for later that month, but needed to be addressed sooner due to the bleeding). When I got to the ER I was taken back immediately & hooked up for vitals. I did let them know i was feeling light-headed/warm, & was given an IV for fluids & ice-packs. I do feel that I waited for a while, before anything was done, as for as my blood loss, other than being assisted with cleaning myself & changing my soiled clothes/bedding. And all the while continuing to feel weak & light-headed. I mentioned to them again how I was feeling, & my concern for how much I was bleeding. By the time my Dr came, I had begun sweating, & my blood pressure was downtrending. I believe the wait was due to my Dr’s scheduled surgeries, along with a change in my nurse while I was waiting, so I understand. Nonetheless, my Dr came in & was able to get things moving with urgency/priority, & she was able to bump up my procedure. So I truly appreciate Dr. Lindsay Graff, & Midwest Center for Women’s Healthcare for making sure that I went to the ER! The surgery prep was thorough. The anesthesiologist & nurses explained everything & answered any questions that I had. They also offered to have a Chaplin come before the procedure, which I appreciated as well. The surgery went by very quickly, & afterward I felt so much better. No pain, just the after affects of the anesthesia. & the recovery team was amazing, & very attentive, caring & understanding!"
