"I bought a mattress for $1250.00. The reason I got the mattress is that it was firm, and I thought it would be good for my back. In less than four weeks, it began to sag in the middle. I returned to the store on my day off and was told that it wouldn’t be a problem because of the warranty, and the store manager would call me the following day. I never heard from him, and I still have a mattress that is sagging in the middle even worse than before. It’s only about 40 days after I purchased it, and I’m of average size/weight. Zero stars would be more appropriate."

"Laura in Hillside was extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable about all of the beds on the showroom floor. She was very patient with us, and had us try several different kinds of beds to see what we liked best. The store was very clean and well organized. We weren’t sure if we were going to make a purchase today, but after finding our perfect mattress, we took the leap. We were very pleased that our mattress and box spring could be delivered in just over a week, and that the delivery team would remove our old mattress and box spring at the time of delivery. Can’t wait!"

"We went to the American Mattress store on La Grange Road and Roosevelt to buy a Purple Hybrid Premier 3 and Ascent Adjustable frame. I didn't know what to expect because of my poor experience in the past with mattress stores not being honest and making you feel like your paying too much. The store was very clean and all the beds worked properly.The manager Dave Vargas that helped us was fantastic! He was very patient and not high pressure at all, like most mattress sales people. He was very honest walked us through all the costs and did his best to make sure we got every coupon he could find. He was even extremely patient with my son that has Autism. I would highly recommended this location!"
