"Their billing company is the worst. I have called 3x and submitted my husband's secondary insurance by mail, just to make sure they have everything correct. We continue to get bills in the mail from back in June 2023. The statements only show the claims have been sent to the primary insurance. Nothing is noted on the bill, about the secondary insurance being billed. When I call, they say they cannot discuss this with me, due to HIPAA privacy laws. We'll, I know HIPAA and I'm not asking them to give me any of my husband's protected health information, I'm making sure they have billed his secondary insurance! They want to speak to my husband, but he is unavailable. I keep telling them the same thing. I'M NOT ASKING FOR ANY HEALTH INFORMATION, I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THE SECONDARY IS BEING BILLED! They are the worst! I know they have "outsourced" their billing. Which doesn't matter to me, I just want to make sure they billed his secondary insurance!"
"I came into the emergency room in September of 2023. I provided two insurances which should have been on file for previous trips and both forms were accepted. I received a bill in December of 2023 which I should not have due to copays being covered by a secondary insurance. I called the customer support line where I was told everything would be taken care of. I received a second bill in January of 2024 in which I called again and was treated rudely by the staff member and was told that my insurance had rejected the claim. When I had spoken to my secondary insurance, I was told they never received a claim in the first place. I went back and forth for a little over an hour before I was told once again everything would be taken of. I received a third bill where I decided to just pay so would not be sent to collections over a bill, I should have never had in the first place. I will never return even if I am bleeding out in the street. This is the worst hospital I have ever visited in my short 19 years of life. I could go on even longer describing the terrible bed side manner and lack of caring from the nursing staff."
"Nurses on the third floor great but the communication from surgery sucks yesterday. It got postponed completely from that day to 11 o’clock this morning and we are still sitting here waiting and they’ve not even came to get her."
"My experience here was terrible. I work in healthcare and am a nurse. I am very understanding of a lot of situations. With that being said, no one should ever have to wait 4 and a half hours to be seen in any ER waiting room. Especially when they have a “30 minute pledge” to be seen apparently. I hoped with new management I would have a better experience than things I have heard about this place in the past, but I don’t. My RN was friendly and nice and I know that there is only so much they can do. Who ever has the ability to run this place needs to figure out how to make these issues better. I finally got taken back and was being told my issue could be a kidney stone. I knew for a fact that wasn’t what it was. They then said it wasn’t and it was a slipped disc. I figured that is what it was. They came back a third time and said I had a UTI and that was the problem. I am not saying they are wrong about having a UTI, but it is not what has caused my problem. They sent a script to my pharmacy and had me on my way saying all I had was a UTI. I then got a call saying they tried to send my script over to the pharmacy and it wouldn’t go through so the script would need to be picked up. I had a family member try to pick it up when they told her I had to be there myself to pick it up. My pharmacy said they had no issues with that narcotic being electronically sent so it was an issue on their end. They refused to retry to send it. I am now not getting my pain meds until I can manage to make it up there with the pain I’m in. I have never had such a terrible experience."
"Had a horrible experience lastnight at ER. Went for legs swelling, pain in legs, sob and pitting. Got lectured how this was a primary care provider visit. How I should have done my part of care even though I didn't get this information prior. Was told there was nothing he could do for me but then said could do a blood test. He left for an emergency, the nurse never informed me after waiting an hour for him to return. I never got my blood test. The nurses were so loud talking outside my room I couldn't relax, this was at night time 10- 11 pm , grant you. The doctor was rude and mean. I left because there was nothing they wanted to do for me and will never go back there nor would I advise anyone to go there. This place doesn't even deserve a star. staff should know hippa rules better too. Talking about other patients makes others feel very uncomfortable plus loud yelling by the doctor in my room was embarrassing about my care with other patients being able to hear my information."
