"After a year of searching, we found the dining room hutch we wanted on-line at Modern Hill. We live in Baltimore so the owners of Modern Hill gave us a virtual tour of the piece and then restored it, ensuring it was a color match to our table. The hutch is GORGEOUS - they did a wonderful job restoring it. The customer service was fantastic throughout the process. Delivery was also fantastic - the piece was carefully wrapped and communication on when to expect delivery was very clear. We also found their prices to be very reasonable when compared to other places that sell mid-century modern furniture. We will not hesitate shop with Modern Hill again in the future, we highly recommend them!"

"I love looking online at mid century and post modern furniture and accessories, but I’m always nervous about buying online. I looked up a seller in the greater Chicago area, so I could see things for myself next time we passed through. I am so glad I found Modern Hill! They have an amazing selection of furniture (Widdicomb, McCobb, Baughman, Kagan, etc.). The showroom is a fabulous look through history. I especially LOVED walking through the warehouse…dust and all. On this trip, we were specifically looking for something for our entry area. Ideally, a dresser or credenza to store scarves and gloves. We have a unique house with some challenging angles. Barry was amazing. He helped us think through styles, sizes and creative options. We ended up choosing a credenza and a small stool that needed a little fixing up. When the pieces were delivered to us about a month later, they looked fabulous! And the stool which had been a little wobbly, is now nice and sturdy. Based on our experience, we feel confident in buying our next pieces online from Modern Hill. In fact, we are now keeping an eye out for a dresser and a chair."

"My husband and I ordered four pieces of Broyhill Brasilia bedroom furniture; nightstand, king sized headboard, 9-drawer dresser with two single arch mirrors, and a five drawer highboy dresser. I consulted with Mike for selection of each piece and to decide the best style mirrors for the dresser. Mike was very knowledgeable about the Brasilia line and his suggestions were a perfect fit for my 1956 ranch home. Restoration of each piece was well done and each piece matched in color and tone; my husband marvels at the fact that this furniture is older than him! After placing my initial order, I challenged Mike with the request of a matching footboard and rails for my king-sized Brasilia headboard; something that I didn't know that Broyhill never made (with the king-size headboard). With the patience and expertise of Barry (the owner), who worked closely with the workers in the shop/restoration, a walnut king bed frame, including footboard and rails was crafted for me using the original feet of a Brasilia footboard. Barry was very communicative in the progress of my piece and very diligent in consulting with us for the precise measurements needed for the creation of this bed frame that was a seamless fit to the headboard and accommodated our low-profile box spring/mattress set. The design team also created custom fit support rails, enabling us to use the bed as a platform bed, if desired. After delivery, Barry followed up with me personally to make sure that the bed, furniture, and delivery met and exceeded our expectations. Delivery by Peter was professional and efficient and our entire delivery arrived in impeccable condition. I look forward to future purchases with Modern Hill as I furnish remaining rooms in my mid century home."
