Theatre 121 is a beloved institution located in Woodstock, Illinois, United States, bringing live theatre to McHenry County since 1967. Our upcoming event features 6th-12th grade contestants competing for the title of Karaoke Champion.
One of our featured productions is "Steel Magnolias," set in the early 1980s in Chinquapin, Louisiana at Truvy's beauty salon. This heartwarming comedy-drama tells the real-life story of a woman who risks everything to give birth despite being a Type 1 diabetic, showcasing the inner strength of women during both good and bad times.
As an inclusive theatre company, Theatre 121 provides entertainment, education, connections, and community through excellence in the arts. Our Storybook Players program offers quality plays for young audiences online or in person, focusing on reaching those who may not have easy access to live theatre.

We are proud to produce quality theatre at the Woodstock Opera House, a consolidation of two historic Woodstock theatre companies: TownSquare Players, Inc (TSP) and Woodstock Musical Theatre Company (WMTC).
