"I have called so many times regarding GED classes and they never never answer the phone!"

"Such a terrible experience here with the Advisor. They are reluctant to give any type of useful or helpful information. They are supposed to be here for the students- to help us, BE AN ADVISOR! But they are so incompetent and lazy. They refer you to go online, as if you haven't tried that already. I'm going to you because I need help and guidance. But all I get is attitude. They don't offer any advice, expertise or assistance. Just do below the bare minimum and that is greet you and tell you to sit down and by. I have so many questions and leave with so many questions still unanswered. It's so frustrating. You take time out of yoyr day to drive down for them to give you no help at all. Still where I started. Confused and unsure of what to do. They don't look into anything, and refuse to answer anything you ask them straight. I tell them I need help and they counter with you can look it up online. - Where!? What do I look for!? What do I do!? Tell me to send a email im with any questions I have. - What email!? - Who am I sending it to!?! - Why am I sending it? - Why can't/won't you answer it!? Why can't you address it!?! It's like they do everything they can to NOT help you. I even came in dressed like I was going to a job interview and was still treated like a bum on the side of the rode not worth thier time. Trying to do everything by myself and so lost. The Advisor at this school need to be audited. They are just sitting thier collecting a paycheck while dismissing anyone who comes in for help/guidance. Advisors: Unhelpful, Reluctant, Dismissive , Incompetent , Lazy Zero Stars. L"

"I had a great experience enrolling in classes. I want to give Nancy Yanez a great recognition, she was super fast on the efficient in doing all the paper work . I Had a busy day to run and she finish everything super fast .I appreciate the honesty and care she tuck with me .. by far my best experience with Lone Star college advisor… if y’all ever looking to register request her …"

"You are required to go up more than once to register for classes because they are unprofessional and just want to hurry and help rather than actually caring (Advisors). The library staff is also rude they are lazy and do not want to help when you need it! In the student center be advised on waiting a long period of time. I wouldn't choose this campus again the staff look like they hate their jobs and it shouldn't be like that. For English 1301 - I do recommend Professor Duane Watson he is awesome!"
