"Considering the area, its not so bad especially after recent renovations. I will say that most of the hotel staff seem not to remember that Afro Latinx folks exist (so not uncommon to hear derogatory terminology or racially charged statements shared in Spanish). They don’t do the best job cleaning completely. My last stay there, there were still rose pedals from the night before all over the bathroom. Our tv also didn’t work and we were met w unprofessional responses when called in. I’ve had my child’s clothing stolen by staff here and nothing could be done supposedly. Also all the the rooms are smoking rooms (they just swop out which ones they are depending on the day) so if you have respiratory issues or immunocompromised this might not be the place for you. Considering the price and other options available n that range, this might be a cleaner space but not by much. And if you’re looking for a safe place to rest w your children, there are quite a few disturbing things taking place at this location.Don’t expect much outside of that."

"Ameretis at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. We greatly appreciated all her help. The hotel was remodeled nice. Location was a little sketchy and the bed was uncomfortable. But overall we were happy and appreciative for the price point and extremely kind customer service."

"Do not come here!!!!! I have never stayed in a dirtier room in my life. The floor looked like it had never been mopped. It smelled strongly of cigarettes and I ended up having to use my inhaler in the middle of the night. There was no blanket, just a sheet. It was incredibly loud. You could hear absolutely everything anyone else did. Loud (and I mean LOUD) bangs all night, people screaming at each other, and of course the other thing you think you might hear in a motel. The worst part is the area… really sketchy and I heard gunshots (not at the motel but somewhere nearby). I was too terrified and grossed out to sleep at all. The people at the front desk were nice though. That’s the only good thing I have to say about it."

"Best place to stay in the area. Very clean and front desk was quick and very sweet. Christin helped getting me a taxi and she was so nice about it. It was a nice experience they did a great job remodeling."

"Could not get a professional response or confirmation so I called to cancel and somehow my request was lost and I was charged twice rate even though I did not stay on the property and have yet to speak to a manager and the customer service number is disconnected. Horrible! Finally get the front desk and this person refused to give her name and was very rude and hung the phone up. Called to speak to manager and she was even worse than the person previously,just refused to to show any professionalism. Totally dishonest and just a poor excuse for a hotel .Believe me! bad business is offered with ease . Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Shamrock stinks!!"
