"$60 For a shoe box bed and a 2 foot wide shower. The bed was harder than the concrete walkway outside... How are you guys open? Although I did not book a room (I stumbled upon this place late at night) the room size was not terrible. There were cockroaches crawling out of the sink and from under the bed. Honestly look like a horror movie scene, and I could hear the whispering from the people in the other room."
"Stayed here after getting lost in Chicago and driving many miles looking for a hotel/motel that had accommodation for the night. Stumbled across this place and we took a room. It's old, it still has wood paneling on the walls and a noisy window air conditioner. The room was clean and we had a great sleep. The next year we made the same trip from southern Ontario through Chicago and back up through Minnesota back to Ontario; we made it a point to stay over at the Sunset Inn again. Had another good stay and a wonderful sleep. We like it because of it's 1950's charm, back when times seemed to be simpler."
