"I was referred to St. Luke's CDI through their orthopedic urgent care. They thought I had torn my meniscus and needed an MRI to confirm. The process and service was fine, but my jaw dropped when I received my bill from them. They charged $2,400 for an MRI for my right knee. After an adjustment (apparently there is a cap on the amount they can charge), my total came to $1,500. I called their financial assistance line and they said there was nothing more they could do for me and all they could offer was a payment plan. I have had several MRIs in my adult life and have never been north of $700 out of pocket. This was just a major shock and I will likely never go back to St. Luke's for any service in the future."
