"Visited a few times these past couple months, and each time I've walked in, staff have been on their phones or sitting down behind the counter!! I have been ignored and have had to get their attention myself. Also, I got a large drink and threw it out immediately after looking at their soda machines because of the noticeable mold. The workers should spend their time cleaning instead of sitting on their phones, since they clearly have the free time. Will not be returning; will be instead taking my business to Meadowview and Movies 10."
"My husband and & I took our kids for a nighttime movie (after dinner, before bed) and we were hoping for a pretty chill time so we went to a 8pm Paw Patrol. show. It ended up being us and 6 teenagers. The teens were talkative - of course (we also have a 13 y/o so we know how it is) so I didn’t mind a little chatter at first. But then they got loud & started laying out on the floor & running up and down the aisle. My 5 & 3 y/o started asking questions about them & I was wondering if I was being pranked. Smh, it definitely wasn’t the kind of experience I was hoping for, but honestly I feel like I picked the wrong theater to do this at ☹️ 3 stars because staff was nice when I got fed up & said something on my way out."
"Just moved to the area and came in this morning with my family- and wow! One of the most beautiful theaters I’ve ever seen! Plus the staff was amazing- held the door for us and greeted us so warmly upon entrance and exit. Amazing concession prices too! Definitely have a new fan!"
"This evening my son and I attended the 5:40 showing of MI7 at the Paramount Theatre. The theatre is absolutely gorgeous, economical, and comfortable. That being said, I will absolutely never return. I’ve been going to the movies for more than four decades, and this was easily -EASILY- the worst movie-going experience I’ve ever had. Two rows in front of us was a group of five or six feral children that were dropped off and left unsupervised. They were the most disrespectful and disruptive people I’ve ever encountered in a theater. They were up and down constantly, talking loudly, dancing (?), using their phones, one threw a tub of popcorn at one of the others, and at one point at least three of them were playing what appeared to be a game of tag throughout the entire auditorium. This went on from when the lights went down to the closing credits. I understand it’s not your place to babysit, however it is your responsibility to ensure the patrons of your theatre can enjoy the movie; we pay hard-earned money to have an enjoyable time, and that is what is expected. At one point during the movie I stepped out and asked the young man and young woman at the concession stand if there was any way to get control of the situation and was told that something would be said to the children Nothing was done. After the movie, upon exiting, I expressed my displeasure that nothing was done. Apparently they had asked the manager to intervene, but if he entered the auditorium, nothing was done because no one came down to confront them and their behavior wasn’t altered in the very least. I asked to speak to the manager and all he could do was mumble a “sorry.” I don’t blame the two employees behind the counter as I’m sure they don’t get paid enough for confrontation, however I absolutely do blame ineffective management. The movie and evening were ruined for every other patron in that auditorium. As I said, I attend movies regularly and have for a long time, and in this time I have noticed a gradual, but dramatic, decrease in attendance. I’m sure most of this is due to the high cost of tickets and concessions, but a poorly run business will continue to push people away to spend their entertainment dollars elsewhere. Do better."
"I’ve been talking about theater one for years and finally took my old lady to it. She was stunned, and does not impress easily. Absolutely classic, old school vibe. Adding the heated recliners does not take away from the classic feel like I feared (RIP red seats). Bathrooms are still creepy, but that’s fun. Gotta shout out the free refills on all drink and popcorn sizes. Self-serve drinks are great. Can we get Coke Zero though? Seemed like maybe the music was louder than the dialogue in the theater, so that was less than ideal. But my love for this theater and the memories therein make it 5 stars all day."
