"Have been renting from here for over 3 months. Go to pay my weekly pay and he decides that he isn't going to renew my room, because there is little black marks on the wall from grease. I work on diesels for a living. So I get dirty. Tries to say I smoked in the room and had ashes all over the floor when I don't even smoke. And never have. Cleaning lady doesn't care about her job, didn't replace our sheets or give us new towels because "we had our own". Only reason we had our own towels is because she never left us any, not to mention. She changed our sheet one time. Next time comes around nope,, didn't change the sheets, ended up buying our own so I could swap them out weekly after I paid to wash this hotels sheets. Why should I have to pay money to wash the sheets they should be swapping out weekly?not to mention I just saw a large amount of rooms rented out and noticed that he went and bought all new furniture for those rooms. Then 2 days later he's refusing to renew my rent for ridiculous reason. Seems to me like he's trying to find any chance he gets to kick out the people who have been renting from him to get higher paying people so he can replace the furniture.. Steve Jones is a total scum bag and his brother is the largest slum lord in this town."

"Disclosure: I am a veteran who just got out of the Army and needed a place to stay until I can get a job and an apartment of my own. Again, military mindset where I am fine with the bare necessities. If you want to be spoiled, pay extra at a hotel. This is for those who need a place to stay for cheap. It's kinda like an apartment but a daily or weekly lease. Do not trust the negative comments since those are from people who are not willing to listen to the owner or respect them. This is a good place to stay at and a trustworthy place for customers who regular come to stay. They make sure that you are able to be comfortable and safe. If you are someone looking for a very cheap and yet functional placed to stay at, then this is it. I paid $200 for a week and it's just my first day. The room is functional with the necessities that you need. It also has WiFi which is not super fast but is able to let you connect to get some service. Speeds are 500 KB/s for downloads and 128 KB/s for uploads. I am satisfied with what I have and can enjoy this motel for the time being. Owner of motel is friendly and shows respect. As the title of the motel says, "God loves you", be mindful of the owner. Do not show disrespect and show respect to their beliefs. People who are religious are more than likely to be very warm and welcoming to those who do the same in return. They are willing to listen to you and have an open mind. They care enough about you as a customer much the same as you care enough for others around you. I was told room service is done regularly. Staff are friendly and courteous to customers. You can not smoke in the rooms and must do it outside somewhere at a distance away from the buildings. If you do it inside, it's a $100 fine. You can not have visitors as it is written in the sheet you sign. If you do not follow the rules, you will be kicked out immediately without a refund. Update #1: Owner has TVs in each room updated with newer models to match with current era. Update #2: Just took a shower and enjoyed it alot. It's new and remodeled very well. Water ran smooth as silk, loved that it's an enclosed shower room, and it has a spot to place hygiene items on the corner. Final conclusion on motel: It's a decent motel to stay in. It is slowly being updated and made to make the establishment comfortable for customers to stay in."

"It is like living with a set of parents who are religious fanatics. They have very strict rules regarding almost everything. The exterior looks great, but the interior is shabby. The sign in front proudly says "American Owned". It should say "White Owned" because I think that's what they really want people to know!"

"I would not even give it one star, but you have too to post. I had stayed at the place for a few weeks due to work. Maid service is only once a week and if you need your sheet changed one has to wash them your selfs and clean your own room every day. The room had some cosmetic issuses, which I never said anything about because I just never thought anything about it. But to my surprise I got falsely accused of doing those cosmetic damages to the room. If someone was to go and pick me up I was accused of buying drugs, which was degrading to my person. It is a live-in motel for low income persons and would not recommend this place not even to my worst enemy. I was told that I would never be welcome to stay there again, but I really do not want to ever have to stay there again. It just made my first trip to Mt. Vernon a bad trip."
