"Cheap place to crash for a while weekly rates are surprisingly good for being a small town"

"Absolutely nothing of interest in the town,, every and I do mean every business was dirty inside and out. Local river rats were unhelpful.. no good food places.. and local bars, lol.. I suggest beer glasses were hand washed, this place is okay if you want to stay in your room and stare at the wall all day...."

"I did not stay here but stopped to see someone. I was disgusted by the awful and overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke coming from the neighboring rooms. I think people actually live at this place. People had their doors open. As I walked to the room, I could see the deplorable conditions people keep in their rooms. I've never been so disgusted by an actual "motel". Maybe I'm just inexperienced, but I don't think most places of business would allow this. I never actually saw any staff, so I can't comment on that."

"As we were driving through the area for the first time, the check engine light was on and the driver wanted to stop so I could check it out and make sure the trip home would be safe. After making sure we were able to drive on, we decided to find out if we could find a restroom before we got back on the road. There was a large party going on in the building to the north of the property. I walked down and found the office and rang the bell to find the manager. The manager was happy to help us out and opened the game room next to the large event room, so we were able to continue on our way. The parking lot was full and the people were going on and out and from what we could see, the facility seemed very nice. The game room was kept up and the pool table, etc. all looked in very good condition. Having never been through the area, we didn't know if there were other places to stop. Thanks to the graciousness of the manager we had a much better trip home! Relieved the stress of not knowing about the engine and the pressure of full bladders, we drove away happy we stopped there."

"This is an older motel, so I wasn't really expecting much when I checked in. However, the room was updated, and was immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable, and there was a mini-fridge and microwave, as well as coffee in the room. There is no telephone in the room, and my two cell phones (one Verizon and one AT&T) had no signals. However, that won't deter me from staying there again. I was pleasantly surprised!"
