"We stayed here last week on 1/27 (also on 11/18/23). We were very disappointed with this recent stay. When we arrived we asked if the lifts for the pool and hot tub were working (I use a wheelchair). We were informed that the pool was closed completely. In November, the lift by the hot tub was not working properly. So I was not able to use it to get in the water. It is extremely rare for a hotel to have lifts for both the pool and hot tub, so we were very excited when we learned this hotel had both. When we entered our room, almost instantly we noticed multiple dead bugs in the entry way. There was also a dead bug in the bathroom. The next morning we noticed a live stink bug climbing the wall next to the large mirror. Lastly, the breakfast options were very minimal when we went to eat. The eggs and bacon were cold and poorly cooked. The ingredients for waffles were out, but there was no waffle maker. I mentioned the bug issue to the gentleman at the front desk. He recognized us from our stay there in November. He apologized and said he would report it and have someone contact us about the issues and receiving compensation. A week has gone by and I haven’t heard from anyone. Will not stay here again."
"I checked in gave my credit card and paid for room and I thought i was good to go as i got a notification money was removed from my card i was WRONG! later that night and i mean later anthee Front Desk agent calls at 1:30 am and says i didn’t pay for room that they only took a $100 incidental fee and i still owe for room which was $115 so i had to get dressed in the early hours of morning to come pay again i have nver experienced anything like this ever very inconvenience Worst Hampton i have ever stayed by far it is not as clean as a Hampton should be im sure Hilton does not approve front desk is very non chanlant like everything was my fault the bad reviews are true and the good ones must be fakes"
"My family and I frequently stay at Hampton Inns when traveling. We were recently scheduled to stay at this particular location for a funeral. We had to cancel our reservations due to a forecasted blizzard and cancelled flights. Though I called the hotel three days in advance, they refused to cancel the reservation. Instead they offered a credit, but only to this location (where I will never be again). I would have readily accepted a credit of some kind if it could have been used at another location. There was no amount of reasoning that would change this situation - complete inflexibility. That said, I am not likely to patronize a Hampton Inn in the future given the considerable options available everywhere."
"Worst Hampton I've ever stayed in. So bad that I didn't complete one night there. I changed hotels without spending the night! Staff was inattentive and appeared to care less about the customers. Room was dirty and dark. Looked like the bed sheets had been slept in and not chabged. Appeared to be blood on a pillow case. Ice machine broken and in an area filled with junk. Look for a different Hilton property in the area..."
"Overall decent Hampton but the breakfast experience was very subpar. Good location just off the interstate, rooms have been recently updated, but this particular Hampton chose some strange places to try to cut costs. When you travel as much as I do and stay as often at Hilton properties, you learn to expect consistency and this hotel is anything but…thin, cheap towels and washcloths were the first sign of silly cost cutting and then the ball really got rolling. The breakfast is where they really are cutting every corner they can to try to save pennies the thinnest cheap coffee cups You could possibly imagine that distort in your hand, the moment you put coffee in them, eight sleeves that don’t even come close to fitting the cups, and the gravy for the biscuits and gravy was so watered down I can only imagine the GM has instructed the staff to cut it 26:1 to save money. Front desk staff was friendly, and as I said, overall decent experience aside from silly cutting corners on simple things that loyal honors members, have grown accustomed to expecting."
