"I have accompanied my Dad to Dr. Kapoor's office for over a year now. The doctor and his staff have always been caring, compassionate, and professional for evaluation and ongoing treatments."
"They know me by name when I walk in the door. How many oncology clinics can say that? As cancer treatments become more and more impersonal, the fact that this doctor and his people know who I am is priceless."
"Please don't go to this doctor. My husband was seeing him and was started on Chemo. After 7 treatments and all kinds of torture and horrific side effects, we find out that they were not even checking his PSA levels in between to see if the treatments were working. They were not, his PSA after being checked upon our request after 7 treatmenrs, had actually more than doubled. At the beginning, Dr. Kapoor told us he would need 3 to 4 months of treatment to bring his PSA numbers down his PSA to zero. My husband was on his seventh treatment and was feeling so sick. He had blisters in his mouth, lost his taste, his hands looked burned, his feet hurt so bad he couldn't walk. His skin was peeling all over especially the bottoms of his feet. I have pictures of all of this. All Dr. Kapoor could say when he saw him and found out the results of the PSA was , "We can start him on stronger Chemo". My husband told him, "no more." If the treatments had worked, it would have been worth it, but they didn't. He stopped the treatments in April and passed away on June 5th. Please don't go to this doctor who always seemed to be in a rush. If we had known we would have gone with someone else. Also, the waiting room looks filthy."
"The doctor is very kind and patient and answered all of my questions. I love the medical staff! They're always giggling and interacting with all of the patients making it a great experience. If you're cold, they bring you a blanket. If you are hungry or thirsty they will find some snacks. For older patients, they help them order food to be delivered for them. The office is clean and they always have fun appropriate music on."
"If I could give Kapoor zero stars I would. He may be a hematologist but he does not know how to treat sickle cell. All he cares about is money and doesn’t care about your health at all. I would rather drive to Austin every two weeks to see a hematologist than go back to his office"
