"Alicia listened to my needs put me at ease in my time of panic trauma pain fear she was so calming comforting patient informative explained everything to me apologized to me about the horrible patient care experience at Mission trails Infusion Room. I am overjoyed and thankful to God 3 weeks waiting for another iron infusion I’m scheduled at the location that works for my recent move. Idk how these two completely opposite women work at the same corporation but I’m praying for the woman in the infusion place and I will always go to the Stone Oak location and deal with Alicia she’s the best and she fixed a horrible situation and made it into something so much better than I can save my life. Superior Customer Service at Dr. Rao Stone Oak location."

"Update to review 5/26/21: I'm changing my star from 1 to 3. I received personal texts several weeks ago from Dr. Rao herself apologizing for the inconvenience we had with reaching the office or not hearing back at this Stone Oak location. Though I appreciate the outreach and concern, my wife was the one to experience the lack of communication so the messages to me were confusing until I remembered the review. Though I do not blame Dr. Rao personally, I think her staff should be more clear about availability in appointments for whichever location she's at to ensure patients are offered the soonest appointment possible. Not just the choice of location. Additionally I hope that Dr. Rao makes a concerted effort to ensure when patients are referred to her and when they call and they're forced to leave a message that the message is responded to. Lastly Dr. Rao was quick to provide her expert opinion via text that my wife no longer needed to see her and that her 2 pervious blood work panels taken by the 2 previous OB locations were enough to rule her out for any major concern. Thank you for reading this long review and to Dr. Rao for responding quickly with my wife's results. 1st Review: Sharing for my wife's experience with the hematology clinic at this location. Communication from this location is terrible. My wife was referred here to get her blood evaluated for a blood clotting disorder while pregnant. The first call she left a message and it took 2 days to get a call back even after our OB called and told them to set an apt asap. The the first available appointment was 3 weeks out. After a recommendation to get put in a cancelation list my wife called back left a message and never heard back from them. She even tried calling a second time and could never get through. So apparently at this place you don't get any communication from them and when you try multiple times no one answers a phone or there's only one phone. The blood work was done and now she has to wait 2 more weeks for the next available opening to come in and discuss results. So much for high risk meaning imperative to be seen sooner rather than later."

"Dr. Rao is a very kind and caring oncologist. She explains things well and makes sure that all your questions are answered. The staff at Oncology San Antonio is also very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Rao and her staff."
