"This is not about any of the separate office but the company as a whole. They started this new automated voice system that takes over 5 minutes and it ask you 6 question and require you to confirm each answer. Mind you the agent (no matter who you have to talk or about what, you are transferred to an agent 1st) will ask you the same 6 questions! It takes 5-7 minutes to just talk to someone for 2 minutes. If this is a way to make patients not want to call...You all have succeeded! I was a patient of this company a few years before they bought Arlington Cancer Center and I left because their doctor told me some off the wall stuff about my issue that wasn't true (instead of just saying I don't know) The doctor wasn't even Board Certified."
"Dr. Moron & his team were amazing! Dr. Moron was extremely informative and attentive to my concerns. He answered all my questions and made me feel heard. Jordan his nurse was so nice and made me feel super comfortable. Paula at the back office always returned my calls promptly as well as got me my multilevel doctors notes to me in a timely manner. Overall they made a scary scary experience enjoyable and I am forever grateful for that."
"Texas oncology, Oh how I hate thee.. my hatred PRE Dates the Plague. Mom (in a wheelchair with functional dementia), is getting a PET scan. First, “there is not room on the trailer for you” LIES I was up in there and could clearly see the two chairs/spots. First time dude was so big it made sense what they said (It doesn’t seem appropriate to put a person that physically large in such a tight space and then tell the caregiver they gotta get out). His buddy then proceeded to be rougher than my mother could take, he was moving her around too fast too rough. She’s frail she’s old she’s sick. Second, experience is not much better. Plus my doctor has zero, and I mean zero social skills. Anything you’ve ever seen about a team caring for you and any other stuff is a lie… it is like no man’s land dealing with your cancer."
"Best team for post-surgical care after breast cancer surgery not requiring chemo, just radiation preventive care & medical Rx treatment. I had surgery in 2014 with radiation and now go annually for recheck by Dr. Adams. Staff and DOCTORS are top-notch: Aggie MD/Radiologist & Longhorn Attending/DO who treated me, so who says humor doesn't heal? Did for me."
"Horrible experience. My husband need a CT scan every 6 months. He has an insurance. We received a bill for $1780 and now another one of $655 for his CT scan. I contacted the insurance. because we never had to oay this much before and they told me they didn't do a prior authorization for it. Now they need to do a retro authorization. I have called EVERYONE!!!!! and EVERYONE keep sending me to another extesion! like its not anyone's problem!!!now they tell me its through the central scheduling department. I have been calling the central scheduling department for 3 weeks now and the Manager Mary never answers or reply back the mesaages. I never had this terrible experience like this one. Its exhausting. This is the LAST time im going to take my husband there....like having CANCER is not enough! Experiencia horrible! Mi esposo se hace CT SCAN cada 6 meses. El tiene aseguranza. Nos llego un bill de $1780 y otro de $655. Llame a la aseguranza ya que nunca nos habia llegado un bill tan alto. La aseguranza nos indico que ellos no habian hecho una autorización previa y por eso el plan no lo cubrio. Ellos necesitan hacer una retro autorización y parece mentira que nadie puede ayudarme. Siguen pasandose el problema y me envian a diferentes extensiones. Ahora me dicen que es en las oficinas centrales de scheduling. Estoy tratando de comunicarme con la manager Mary desda hace 3 semanas y no contesta, le dejo mensaje y tampoco contesta. Nunca habiamos tenido una experiencia tan HORRIBLE como esta. Ultima vez que uso Texas Oncology ! Como si tener CANCER no fuera suficiente!"
