"Doctor needs a refresher course on discrimination and medical malpractice. I’m 3 years into this medical journey for chronic allergic reactions: scheduling, spending tons of money, blood tests, specialists.etc to find the source of my problem. So after 3 years, in our first consult, he hadn’t drawn any labs nor did any studies of his own, yet told me it was because I was fat. He also shook his head no while asking me if I was active. I’m pregnant & walk everyday for easier delivery yet, he answered no for me. Then he ordered 15+ labs and x-rays which I questioned since he had his answer. oh right, he still wanted his paycheck. I know weight can be a factor but I also know my primary provider would’ve told me that on day one not a specialist 3 years later. I didn’t follow up because I have no respect for this doctor. He is weight bias and discriminates. Would love to take this higher because it’s disgusting practice and everyone deserves quality healthcare."
