"Dr. Head and all of the vet technicians were so wonderful and empathetic and attentive to me and my kitten Sara Bella. Immediately after I made my appointment they called me to get an even more detailed history while on my way to the urgent vet. At the urgent vet everyone was so welcoming and comforting and validating of my worry and concern for Sara Bella. They were all so patient and gentle with Sara Bella and really listened to me and my concerns. Dr. Head was also so thorough in his exam of Sara Bella and history gathering of her symptoms and did not rush the visit in any way or try to exploit me or run unnecessary tests while also giving her the best care and explaining all his reasonings for the tests performed along with treatments and prices. I could not recommend a better place to go when you need immediate care for your fur baby!"

The facility was well-equipped, and staff communicated effectively throughout the process. What really stood out was that they weren’t trying to put my dog through unnecessary test or procedures in an effort to jack up the bill. They laid out a very clear plan and gave options. "Brought my dog in on 12/4/23 at 8:30pm due to diarrhea, extreme hypersalivation and retching. The doctor and all staff were kind and compassionate. They took their time with my cautious girl and helped her feel more safe and comfortable. I left with plenty of medication, probiotics, detailed instructions and recommendations to help my dog feel better. I hope I never have to go there again, but if I do I know my dog will be in good hands. 10/10 recommend."

"Super easy scheduling, very clean facility, very kind staff. Took my dog in for a visit and right away was given a solution to her skin allergies. I’ve been to several vets for this issue but this is the first time an actual solution was given! "Our kitten (8 or 9 months at the time) fractured her arm in 2 places in a freak accident. We were seeing vet ERs & her regular vet for care. She was given a splint & if it came off or moved we had to take her in immediately to have it replaced. For 8 weeks they were basically falling off every 3-4 days. Every ER & vet we saw told us it was basically impossible to keep a splint on a cat, blah blah blah. $3k later we couldn’t afford an ER visit & our regular vet was closed for the day…. We found urgent vet in cedar park. We got in immediately (a very new experience for us compared to the previous 8 weeks)! The vet who saw our Kallie girl immediately told us that the splint was the INCORRECT splint for her injury & recommended that we leave it off (previous we had been told this splint must stay in for at least 12 weeks, with being changed weekly… but it was falling off every few days). The vet at urgent vet specializes in cat orthopedic injuries & gave us so much helpful info. We made follow up appointments at urgent vet ONLY from that moment forward. With their advice, help & guidance our Kallie girl is now FULLY HEALED & did not need the splint for almost half of her estimated healing time because she had been improperly treated by at least 8 vets/emergency vets prior to finding urgent vet. This place saved our girl & her healing process… but they also saved our sanity & were so much more helpful than anyone else we had come into contact with before finding them. We will forever be grateful for the staff there & their kindness, knowledge & quality care received. I hope we don’t ever need to go back but if we ever do… we won’t go anywhere else."
