"I just want to say thanks to Dr. Finn and the team at Pet Method Animal Hospital. Ol' Marjorie went blind suddenly on Dec 14th and I scheduled an appointment for the very next day. Dr Finn was able to diagnose her with detached retinas, run tests and immediately prescribed medication for hypertension. We weren't sure if she would recover her eyesight, but he assured me that sometimes it can reverse. Dr. Finn was hopeful and positive, but I didn't know what to expect considering she was very old now (16+). Her results came back with no signs of other issues save for the high blood pressure. I followed the dosage and left instructions for the cat sitter as I had a trip planned. When I returned on the 27th, I noted that Marjorie was reacting to my movement but thought she just got used to using her other senses. A few days later I noticed she was less stressed and more confident in moving around so I took out the laser pointer and sure enough she was following it like before her blindness. I continued with the medication to the point where I was 100% sure she was able to see again and saw her eyes track and dilated normally. To say I was happy is an understatement, I was through the moon and came to tears that my girl was able to see again. After speaking with Sara, Dr. Finn recommended her be on the medication for life to keep the hypertension at bay. Again, thanks to Dr. Finn, Zach and Sara for this Christmas miracle.
