"My father became very sick and bed bound over the last 3 months and needed to have long term care. The nursing home put me in touch with these people and they were helpful (at the beginning) they gave me a plan for getting him assistance with Medicaid, drawing up a power of attorney, a lady bird deed to save his house from MERP and what to do with his savings (Spending down) which included their fee of $6000.00. After being in the nursing home for about 2 weeks he went to the hospital and unfortunately passed away. During that two weeks at the nursing home and the week he was in the hospital communication from this group was far and few between, I would email my case manager and usually wouldn’t hear anything till the next day(maybe). I did get a power of attorney and lady bird deed from them but nothing else. He was never set up on Medicaid and none of the fee paid was returned. I was told since the work is mostly done at the beginning of the process the fee could not be returned. So I basically paid $6000.00 for a Power of attorney and a lady bird deed (which I found out later could have been done for free online). I’m very unhappy with this organization and feel that they took advantage of someone in a vulnerable position and that $6000.00 worth of services was not rendered. Do your research before doing business with these people, because to them it is just business."
