"Robert Franks is negligent and doesn't care about the welfare of children. I told him from the first point of contact the outcries of sexual abuse by my children, CPS cases and ongoing criminal investigation of child abuse, animal mutilation footage discovered on my ex's computer and inappropriate videos of my daughter on his phone. I told him I was also a victim of family violence, verbal, emotional and financial abuse. He told me he was "pushing" me to allow visitation because no charges had been filed. He did not include my pleading for an amicus in the temporary orders or my witnesses in my disclosures which prevented me from using my therapist as a witness. Robert Franks failed to request her records and the records of my children's therapist. He pressured me into agreeing to joint managing conservatorship and didn't explain what that meant and stated that the judge could give my ex custody if I did not agree. I was common law married and knew nothing about court or family law. He didn't explain the gravity of an MSA. He told me to just move after signing the MSA. Over and I over I told him my children needed protection from their father. He did nothing to help them. My initial citation stated that I requested sole custody however it was completed by a more competent lawyer. I regretfully released my previous counsel because I needed help scheduling CPS interviews and I panicked not knowing where to turn. Unfortunately, I hired Robert Franks. He told me to be thankful for getting soberlink which is garbage. My ex suffered a heart attack and flatlined from alcohol withdrawal and Robert Franks did not request his hospital records. He charged me over 11k for inept, lazy counsel. He invoices were inaccurate and did not track all the payments I was made to him. He did not do his due diligence in assisting me with gathering evidence to protect my children or advocate for them at all. This is shocking as he had his son wondering around on the zoom call during my mediated settlement agreement and during our breakout room time. He told me I had to give visitation and when my twins made additional outcries post-MSA the protective order court would not hear me plea for protection because I was counseled with negligence. I did no know that I could have could have said no. My abuser stifled my voice and Robert Franks added insult to injury. I offered Robert Franks numerous pieces of evidence to prove the allegations including videos, images, recordings, police reports, written testimonies, screenshots, bank statements, diaries and more. He let it all sit and rot. His priority was getting my financial information and assets which was requested numerous times in it's entirety and not demanded from my ex. In fact my ex, was fired for reasons Robert Franks didn't bother to inquire (was it alcohol related? Who knows) and his child support was reduced in the MSA. The priority of the MSA was on my ex ascertaining his belongings and not on the welfare of my children. Robert Franks referred to my children as "the girls" when I have a son. The MSA stated "child" instead of children. I should never have hired someone with such a lack of regard for children. Now I am stuck with a monster who has rights to continue abusing my children. Do not retain this man if you have a divorce involving children or domestic violence/abuse."
