"Talked to 2 different attorney's at this firm and both gave 2 totally different answers of legal or illegal. I'm right back to point A, clueless on what My next step should be ****Revised***** To answer the lawyer that responded. I was given your number from legal shield. I called with an issue. I was told I would get a call back. I received 2 calls from this firm the next day within an hour of each other. The male lawyer said what the company was doing was legal. Maybe an hour later a female attorney called and said no. The company could not do what they were doing and she said I should take action. I couldn't speak with her longer because I was at work by myself. So either you have a volunteer lawyer working for you that you don't know about or there returning your phone calls for you. But I received two phone calls from the same number in one day"

"If you need someone in CA law, avoid this guy. Not sure how he has awards. Despite being an HR Manager, receiving a retention bonus, and 3 years of exceeding expectations, I was let go after managing 3+ complaints from an executive at my company who had numerous complaints about discriminatory language (and who failed to take anti-harassment training as required by law). I, myself, in a temporary reporting structure was “let go” under “performance” with no warning, PIP, or previous complaints and experienced my own discriminatory statements from the same executive who made comments such as “COVID is a hoax” and “Monkeypox is a thing. Guess I should get vaccinated for that too”. Same executive reprimanded me for bringing up FLSA concerns. Never heard back from this lawyer, other than his paralegal starting he wouldn’t take the case. After reviewing other comments, I can understand why. He doesn’t fight for the marginalized and only takes cases that are an easy win. A reputable lawyer would start with requesting performance and payroll records under CA226, writing a demand letter and going from there. Basically this firm is lazy. Avoid."
