"I’ve never had a problem with curbside like I experienced today. The staff were fine but the packing of bags was so environmentally bad that I actually couldn’t believe how ridiculous it was. Individual items were placed in the bags. All of my produce was bagged in separate bags with only 1 item in each bag. Canned goods were bagged separately - tomato sauce in one bag, crushed tomatoes in a separate bag. Everything was bagged that way - over 30 bags for one order - it took twice as long to unload the groceries. This was so ridiculous. There was also an odd substitution - I ordered 2% milk and they substituted with whole milk. Also, I had ordered beef tenderloin from the meet market with designated thickness but got a prepackaged cut from the meat case. H‑E‑B needs to do a better job of training shoppers. What a waste!"

"We have used curbside for a few months now and are overall very pleased with how smooth the process is. They are quick to bring your order out and explain any substitutions if you have questions. My only suggestion which would apply to any location not just this one would be to add the option to make the add ons replaceable if the original is not in stock. We regularly order several days in advance and realize we need 1 more item. Due to the way their process is setup, they will not find a replacement for it unless you speak to them over the phone even if that replacement was added days before it gets shopped. Not a huge issue, just something that is available on other curbside platforms."

"Love/hate relationship with the service. I don't mind the up charge for the order, and the staff are always super friendly. They tend to miss items we order, though are quick to replace it. They sometimes substitute items for something pretty strange, but you can decline them. They always waste a ton of plastic bags, usually one item per bag. I think you can bring your own bags and pack them on the spot, we might start doing this. Also we stopped ordering fruit because the ones picked were always sub par."
