In the case of the law firm of Hanshaw Kennedy Hafen , LPP I would say they were exceeded which I will explain why later. Jodie was my first contact who answered several important questions to my full satisfaction and then arranged a consultation with the correct attorney. "Was honestly really disappointed when I met with this firm. They charge a pretty hefty consultation fee that no other law firms are charging. But they seemed legit so I paid it anyway. I’m a businessman who constantly has a variety of cases or just need legal advice often. I came to them with a bunch of different things I needed handled and they stuck me with two younger gentlemen who honestly didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing or talking about. Then they came back wanted to charge a $10,000 retainer for every single case. Even ones that needed a simple demand letter sent out. Not sure why we couldn’t do one $10,000 retainer and then continue to pay into that as it runs out like every other attorney. I think that they might be good attorneys but I wouldn’t know because I never got that far. I just felt like I got ripped off because I paid the consultation fee of several hundred dollars and then they gave me some insane price to basically tell me they didn’t want my business and then don’t refund the consultation fee. I’m sorry but I’m not giving a $50,000+ retainer. That is insane. I would highly suggest talking to other attorneys before paying them for a consultation with some of their associates."
