"Tx Breast Specialist and TX Oncology in Amarillo TX are great at taking care of me. I love their new building except the 3 automatic doors at the front door. They all three open at the same time when people come and go thru the door way. This allows cold air to rush into the buildings. It’s very cold for the receptionist and patients in both offices. They need to have different and separate openers. They are definitely NOT energy efficient or patient and employee friendly. But I give everyone who works in both places a 5 Star rating!"

"Additional Edir. I have changed my review to 5 star. My appointment went smoothly and I was treated well by all staff. I immediately noticed a different vibe when I walked in the door. Receptionists we're very nice and polite to everyone that came through the door. A total 180 from my first contact with them. EDIT: As a follow up to my initial review, I was contacted and received a nice apology. I will reevaluate after I see them for my appointment. Hopefully the issues I had have been resolved. I went in for what I thought was my scheduled appointment. My appointment card written by the receptionist clearly stated that my appointment was on the 5th of December. I also had it on my calendar. When I attempted to check in I was rudely told that my appointment was on the 15th. I showed the receptionist my appointment card and was told it must have been written wrong. In fact she made me feel like it was my fault for showing up. I advised her that I believed the appointment was placed in the computer wrong. Even so, there was no apology or attempt to fit me in even though it was clearly your mistake. I was just told to show up when I had a SCHEDULED appointment. It's interesting that I have been a patient for several years and have always been treated with respect and dignity. Not this time. In fact I was so rudely dismissed that I am thinking of contacting my doctor about another referral to a different facility."

"Worst experience of a mammogram ever. 1000% do not recommend. Front office staff is incompetent. You are not allowed to have a support person with you. The doctor is callous and refused to explain anything to me. She said I had to proceed as she directed, "because i said so". I complained to my doctor and he switched me to Harrington where I had no issues."

"I have been getting mammograms as early as 30 due to a strong family history.... at least 10+ so far. I will say hands down that I have had the best experience of all at Texas Breast Specialist. The staff was so kind, made me feel very comfortable and the best part...completely pain free! The 3D imaging offered was so impressive and gave me the piece of mind I needed. I would highly recommend this office to all."

"My first and only mammogram so far was at Texas Breast Specialists. Everything from making the appointment to getting the bill paid was a pleasant experience. I arrived and was greeted by fun and friendly staff, I did not have to wait any longer than it took to do simple paperwork, the technician was super friendly and gentle. I have implants and she was very informative. Despite everything I had heard and was dreading, IT DIDN’T HURT!! My results were at my ordering physician’s office within an hour!! I didn’t have to wait and agonize about results. My study was normal but if it had not been, I was in the right place to have additional studies if necessary. I’ll go back when I need to and recommend Texas Breast Specialists to anyone and everyone who mentions a mammogram. Surprised and Impressed"
