Figueroa's Day Care

"This daycare is HORRIBLE!!! The worst one I have taken my children to, the owner is very hostile and problematic and does not show it until you sign the contract, she is always looking for a way to argue with you and give you a thousand complaints, she invents absurd rules and justifies herself by saying that These are IL state rules. If your child wears diapers, that will be a problem because she will charge you a weekly fee to change it and if she is 3 years old or older she won't even want to deal with that, she will make up that she can't change it because it is a state rule and she doesn't do it either. help you go to the bathroom. 2 of my children have special needs and throughout their stay there, she was constantly comparing them with other children, she told me how was it possible that other children could do certain things and my children could not, she and her daughter (she is the woman who helps him) always said inappropriate things about my children. The last few days I took them to that Daycare, my youngest son cried horribly when he saw the lady so I decided not to take them anymore. Please save yourself the trouble and take your children somewhere else!!!!!"

"HORRIBLE!!!! I used to go here when I was little the lady used to treat me very bad… one time I broke the tip of my pencil and instead of them telling me to get a new pencil SHE MADE ME RIGHT WITH MY FINGER NAIL!!!. The lady used to always pull my hair."

"This is the worst daycare in Waukegan and the owner is completely mean and erratic. She will constantly come up with complaints and reasons to argue and fight you to intimidate you and your son. She comes up with crazy rules that are not part of the contract and she will lie about the rules and say that is a state of Illinois rule. Here are a few examples of her made up rules: 1. If your kid is still using diapers, that will be a problem for her and she won't tell you until you have signed the contract. she will try to charge 20 dollars extra a week to change diapers. 2. If your son is learning to go to the bathroom on his own and he is 3 years or older, she won't help him or even want to deal with that, she will justify this by saying that this is a IL state rule. 3. She is extremely concern about her carpet and floor getting dirty and goes crazy mad if your kid has an accident. my son was scared of her and would pee in his pants while there. 4. One time I was dropping off my son in the morning and I waited outside for 15 minutes, finally her teenage son open the door and said that her mom was not there and he had fallen asleep. She left the kids unattended in the basement sleeping. 5. She will try to intimate you from day one so that you don't complaint or say anything and she will constantly fight you morning and afternoon.
