"I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda for almost 5 years I believe. Before she came I was seriously considering quitting. The communication in the office was horrendous, due to the communication difference. I never felt appreciated or felt like I was being seen for all my hard work. Amanda noticed, and said Thank you. No one from the office or agency ever thanked my hard work. No one cared. As a caregiver 40 plus years , sometimes we need just a thank you.. Acknowledgement. Kindness. Employers forget that it's up little people who keep there business going. This message is for management. You need to do better for your caregivers and especially the person who is the glue in the office. Amanda treats you like you matter, like your family. It makes me want help more. "I live in Woodstock, IL. I am a disabled person. My needs are unique to me, but European have thus far been up to the challenge. My caregivers or "homemakers," as they call them at European have always been very hard working. They cooked very well and cleaned very well for me. My current homemaker Maria "Theresa" Martinez is doing a fantastic job. She always comes to work ready to assist me with my needs, and although there is a small language barrier sometimes, she and I have been able to communicate very well. I hope to keep her as my homemaker for a long time. When the time came in the past that I needed to transition to a different homemaker because their schedule changed, my case manager at European, Amanda, did a good job to accommodate me and find a homemaker who could work within my schedule. I feel like the case managers and employees at European listen to my feedback and do their best to provide the services that I need. I feel like they take pride in their work. I always feel like I can call European and find the help I need if any issue might arise or any change needs to be made. I feel like I am in good hands with European Service at Home in McHenry. I am usually very satisfied as their client. When I am not feeling satisfied, they work to resolve the issue. I could not ask for more than that."
