"Excellent except they could use some blinds during mid day. The sun was very bright. The server was excellent and friendly. Definitely would go back, but maybe in the evening when the sun isn't coming straight in the south facing windows."

"This restaurant used to be a 5 but it is clear that they have let things slip. I have always enjoyed the Hummas w/ veggies & Flatbread before. This time however we got ground chickpeas only. Someone forgot to add the spices & other ingredients. It was close to inedible. Got a salad pear & goat cheese. Lovely, except it had one little piece of bacon on it & I told the server, no bacon. The server was not as attentive & our waters ran dry. I do not believe any of the kitchen crew were wearing beard nets that needed them & one person without a hat. I know the last is a serve safe violation. Please do better."

"We always enjoy the atmosphere here. The inside decor is tastefully done and provides for a pleasant dining experience. The menu has good variety and I really like the pizzas; which have the right amount of crispiness/thickness of crust paired with some unique options for toppings. Would like to give our server from our most visit a shout-out...We had Mary Kate and she was awesome! Helpful when it came to our questions about the menu and provided great service. She was also fun and personable which makes all the difference when eating out."

"This place had nice ambiance but that’s it. My waitress was just okay. I ordered a 1/3# cheeseburger. I know what one looks like (check out my review of Copper Moon Steakhouse in Palmyra, NE). Kalona’s 1/3# was barely 1/4#. The tomatoes were green and tasteless and for $17? You got to be out of your mind! No ambiance tastes that good. I travel all over the country and I know what good is. Kalona Brewing Company isn’t it. I’ll be back to Kalona regularly as I haul Amish but I’ll never go to this place again even if someone else is paying."

"It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but I’m glad I made the return trip. They had several new beers I haven’t tried, so I got a flight. My favorites were the “You Be You” Imperial Stout and the “Red Rover Cherry Belgian Ale”. I love the overall feel of the place. The bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful in answering questions. The food looked delicious, but I wasn’t hungry at the time. I’ll definitely come back."
