Reviews of Therapy for Life
"In response to the review left by Keren Watson, as listed as "Abacus Master Math" I want the public to know the accusations she made are false. I am the full legal custodian of our child, not Keren. Keren's continued efforts to persuade TFL to discharge our daughter is not helping our child. TFL is doing what is directed by the court. No abuse has ever, nor is happening, despite Keren's repeated pattern of behaviors towards myself and the clinic. We have included Keren since day one. TFL and I continue to work closely to our child's betterment and success. It would be nice if her mother, Keren, would work with us too."
"They are saying it’s untrue but I attached the report below which clearly shows what that therapist did. The picture will show what they sent me saying a therapist did this to Dear daughter. My custody case is over and has nothing to do with a therapist (a grown woman) doing this to a small child, this is Not okay. The 1st picture they said it also had marker on it. The report will show that therapist scratched her up like this because Dear daughter was running around and the therapist tried to stop her. My daughter has been bit twice, left naked in the bathroom unattended with her clothed soaked in the toilet (multiple times) she was brought to me with a bloody face and blood on her shirt, her mouth was cut inside pretty bad. These are only some of the things that have happened. Hopefully me posting this will make them pay attention to the kids because too many incidents have occurred and it is NOT okay. On the second day of the incident when I got my daughter she was pointing at all her marks saying “owey owey” *They originally said it was untrue but then they deleted their message which I saved and attached the picture as well. I do not trust this therapy center. They are also trying to change the original report to a different story. They can not change the original report which is what is attached to the pictures as well ( last picture shows their original message of them saying it was untrue as well)"
"Therapy for Life have become very unorganized and unprofessional. After months and months of asking if staff would be able to handle my son, I was assured everything was fine and he would attend next year. Out of the blue my husband was told he would need to find another facility. If your child has behavioral issues, this is not the place. I never heard from ST/OT even after asking multiple times. A tech was administering a narcotic pill which was never given. (Even after I've told the doctor multiple times his meds need to be crushed) My problem is communication. I've asked soo many times with no hard feelings if facility was appropriate in our parent meetings. Always have been told he's fine and would be there next year. This facility knew since the departure of Shakila, they were not equipped to handle him.I receive daily reports, nothing negative ever written. This was a waste of my money and worst off lost time for my son. This place maybe appropriate for very small children, even at that, I've spoke with other parents who expressed concerns especially since expansion. No Mike I don't want your help finding another facility, I wanted you to do what I hired your facility to do and let me know THE TRUTH."
"My son has been receiving speech therapy for over 2 yrs and occupational therapy for 1.5 yrs. with this provider. We are very pleased with his consistent progress! The SLPs and OTs here have been wonderful to work with!"
"Very disappointed! I will speak with names to make it clear. after two months of having my son at their facilities where everything seemed fine. The place are fantastic, the front desk staff is wonderful (Karen and Jacky) and our Behavior Analyst (Carlton Le) is definitely the best! where our bad experience begins is on Tuesday May 17th, they let us know that they are having issues with the insurance to obtain their payments. So my wife starts calling the insurance to find out what is happening and to be able to fix the situation. we spent 3 days in constant communication with them and the insurance company until they let us know that my son will no longer be able to attend his therapies until they receive their payment. I think it was very poor management on the part of the administration (Michael) to remove my son from his therapy like this. 3 days before we realized the problem and then they take him out. we tried to put pressure on the insurance to find out what was happening so they could get their payment and my son could return to his therapies. We have had almost a month of constant calls with the insurance where they tell us that Therapy is the one who does not send the claim correctly, instead Therapy tells us the insurance company is not doing anything to help and my son was affected because of that. Nobody knew how to give an answer. A month of calls hours after hours to solve the situation. so much time invested and today they called to inform me that they will no longer work with that insurance and they will no longer accept my son. A lost month where we could look for other options. They played with our time but most important with my son's time. a complete disappointment!"
