His vibe allowed me to cut through the layers I built surrounding the issues (translation: I somehow instead of mulling about the issue and trying to spin it, cut the BS and went straight to the narrative that was festering the anxiety). I bring this up because sometimes in therapy it can be hard to come forth and speak out loud the deep seated fear that anxiety thrives on.
